Connie is by Lancer 1 who was the first of 3 approved sons by the infamous Landgraf 1 out of the mare Inula by Fantus. Lancer 1 only did two covering seasons before changing over to competition where he qualified for the 1990 Federal Championships in Verden and won many puissance competitions. Her dam, Parabella is by the exceptional French show jumping stallion Silbersee who won World Cup competitions. His best known stallion son is Silvester who has enormous jumping ability. Silbersee is also the dam sire of High Scope the Irish international eventing stallion who competed at the Sydney Olympic games.
